I sent out a little gift to my subscriber group to help ring in the New Year. My subscriber had a few hiccups so I hope it managed to get out to everyone. Yep, it’s that time again. 10 skins and 4 outfits are up for L$ 1 each. I’ve also revamped my two darkest skintones in the hope that they look a bit more natural. I’ve never been completely pleased with either one but I think I’m slowly getting there. If you pick either Caramel or Coffee up, let me know your thoughts.

I finally got a chance to redecorate my shop in a more wintery theme, and just in time for Black Friday. Everything in the shop is 50% off until 12/2, including new releases. In addition, there is a new skin out in 4 skintones for L$ 10. Apologies for the crap quality of the ad, I used not one, not two but three viewers to make these ads. /headdesk

(Btw, stuff on the Marketplace is NOT on sale because I didn’t have a chance to go change the pricing, sorry!)

So in a weird fit of pique, I decided to make some new stuff and re-open my shop. And have a Halloween Dollarbie hunt. And I’m slowly going to finally put junk on the Marketplace… as a contingency for when I inevitably /ragequit and shut my store down again.

Here’s the new stuff! I’m dressing up as Alice in Wonderland for Halloween this year so that was basically my inspiration behind most of this stuff.

Friday, April 1st, is the last day {Frick} will be around. I’m going to tear the whole thing down come Saturday. Thanks again to everyone who has supported my little contribution to SL over the past years. I really doubt I would have stuck around as long as I did without all the kind words and encouragement. You guys are the best!

I’ve finally made the difficult decision to close the doors of {Frick} after many months of inactivity punctuated by the very rare release…

The store hasn’t really been doing well for several months (totally my fault) and because of that my interest in making things for it has waned considerably. While I still love making things I just lost the motivation to do the selling part of it all… making ads, agonizing over the options to include, and the nightmare of pricing stuff only to watch it flop miserably. So it’s high time for a proper hiatus. Some of my things might eventually find their way onto the Marketplace and it’s possible in a few months I might feel refreshed enough to come back but I’m not going to make any guarantees on that. At any rate, {Frick} will be closing on April 1st. If you would like to keep informed of anything I might be up to, just check back here from time to time. Lastly, a huge word of thanks to everyone who has supported my little shop over the past few years, I honestly would not have made it more than a month without you guys. <3

Yup, it’s another dollarbie hunt. What can I say, I made some new things but was too lazy to make ads for it all so.. hunt. This is a sneak preview of the new skins I’ve been working on… whether or not they’ll ever see more incarnations, I really couldn’t say. In addition to said hunt, everything in the store is a least 50% off until further notice. A pretty significant amount of items won’t be surviving past the sale so get ‘em while you can.

Halloween has come to Frick! You may remember my creepy skins from years past, well now all that creepy business is available to you on the 2.0 tattoo layer to wear with whatever skin suits your fancy!! Fear, Plague & Toxic are L$ 89 & Vengeance is L$29.

Ok, I’ve been promising to make this forever and I *finally* did; an Autumn version of my skybox! I know, I know, it only took me an entire year. >.< Bedecked in oranges and yellows it even has a fall leaf emitter! It’s mod/copy and L$ 75.

I’m also having a little dollarbie Halloween Hunt in my store until October 31st! There are 10 black and orange Witch Hats scattered around the store for L$ 1 each. There are 3 makeup tattoos (2.0 Viewer only), 5 skins, 1 pair of eyes and 1 dress!

And zomg, I finally put something new in the Lucky Board.

Blog readers get first crack at the goodies because I’m going to go play World of Warcraft now (yay 4.0.1, boo for all my gems being effed up) and probably won’t send out a notecard to my subscriber group until tomorrow!
